Class 1 (Explosives) is divided into 6 divisions (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6)
and 13 compatibility groups (A-S except I/M/O/P/Q/R). However, only the
compatibility groups of 1.3C/G and 1.4B/C/D/E/G/S are allowed for air
transportation via CAL Freighter.
Division 1.1—Articles and substances having a mass explosion hazard.
Division 1.2—Articles and substances having a projection hazard but not a
mass explosion hazard.
Division 1.3---Articles and substances having a fire hazard, a minor blast
and/or a minor projection hazard but not a mass explosion
hazard.
Division 1.4—Articles and substances presenting no signification hazard.
Division 1.5---Very insensitive substance having a mass explosion hazard.
Division 1.6---Extremely insensitive articles which do not have a mass
explosion hazard.
