Last week brought about 104 routes launched by 49 airlines worldwide. While both anna.aero prizes were scooped up by German airports, other highlights include three inaugural cakes baked by AENA airports across Spain, United Airlines' launch of a new service from Edmonton to Newark, as well as Virgin America #nerdbird's debut arrival in San Jose.
